New York Day 3

Day 3 we departed early to beat the crowds at the Statue of Liberty..and really I think we only waited in line for like 20 min! After going through security we boarded the Ferry to take us out to the statue! It was really cold, cloudy and overcast that day but that didn't stop us one bit! I was really excited to see the statue! Unfortunately tickets to go inside the crown weren't available but we did get really close to her! The 18 staircase walk we took to get up to her was pretty brutal and made me realize how out of shape I'am but we made it and it was amazing! When you hit the top they had spots where you could look up inside the statue..pretty cool! Just standing there and looking and looking out through New York City was simply breathtaking! When we came down they have many gift shops..places to roam around..so we did then boarded the boat to head back to the bus and head to Boston!

They have this amazing memorial for 9/11 it's kind of hard to tell but you can see the 2 panels and they have names of those that were killed on 9/11 on them and the way that the panels are placed is the exact direction that the planes hit the twin towers! Pretty amazing!

After lunch we took a 4 hr bus ride to Boston...I loved Boston...it seriously is beautiful! The leaves were amazing! Once we arrived in Boston we had a huge pizza party at the hotel..and hit the sack again!
